The map display

GPS Coordinates

The map display supports both DD and DMM GPS coordinate formats

Configure the parameter that holds the GPS cordinates in order to see a marker on the map. 

GPS Coordinates can be set as Tags for the configuration or overriden in the settings

  • configuration Tags
  • Tags for GPS are added by default to every configuration and just need to be updated with the appropriate parameter names
  • Settings Option

Set the GPS parameter name in the Settings as per image above. Setting this will override parameter names set in the Tag

Marker

With the right mouse button down, drag the marker to move the data value cursor for the configuration across other displays

Time/Distance Mode

  • Toggle Time and distance mode on the map with the "D" key to see trace of the GPS coordinate, shown in image above as blue line. 
  • With a distance parmeter set in the configuration Tag or Distance Setting, switch between T

Color Map

  • Add a parameter with colormap values for the given parmeter to highlight different values on the map

Edit color map color ranges and values by double clicking on colors

KML Files

  • Drag and drop kml file directly onto map display to show or Open Data manager and drop kml files to import for team.

KML files import and dragged on can be toggled at the bottom of the settings panel
